PKKS History
PKKS was founded as a Association in 2005 by Renshi Robert Pepels from the Netherlands. After more then 20 years of training he walked many different steps in the Martial Arts. Started of as a student of Shihan Herbert Knoester in the South Netherlands , Renshi Pepels soon explored the world. He travelled to many different countries around the World searching for knowledge. He had a fine career in the Arts. Then he became very sick and almost could not do the Arts anymore , but still he kept teaching , learning and even Full Contact Fighting for many years to come. In the Netherlands there are no good Kenpokai Associations. There are some Kenpo and Kempo Associations but those are very poor in knowledge. So Renshi Pepels went over to the Kyokushinkai Karate Associations to learn more about Full Contact Competition Fighting. First he went to the IKBKK of Kaicho Jon Bluming and Kancho Henk Kuipers. But after two years he went to the IBK of Kancho Gerard Gordeau. Robert always was a great admir of Kancho Gordeau. Nowadays PKKS is a fast growing International Association.
The Techniques
Renshi Pepels united the styles of Kempo , Karate , Kenpo and Full Contact Karate under the Japanese System of Kenpokai Karate which is very popular in Japan and France. It has also Koshiki Karate and Nippon Kempo roots. All styles were further updated. We had good contacts with many great masters to re-develop the Kenpokai Divisions. First there was Soké Yuriy Kostrov 10th Agni Allround Kempo who united many Asian and Russian Martial Arts on a Kyokushinkai bases. But we did not go further with his organization. Shihan Velin Hadjolov from Hungary became our second help. He created Bul-Kempo , also a Allround system based on Jujutsu and Kyokushinkai. But again we went our seperate ways. From that period on Renshi Pepels started fighting Kyokushinkai and Ashihara Karate Full Contact tournaments. But in 2005 Renshi Pepels became very sick , he still fought at 2 local tournaments but without succes. He would fight again with succes in several matches in 2007. Within the last years the Kenpokai Karate system became a Allround system of Selfdefence and Fighting.
