          What is Simmey-do Karate?

Style Simmey-do, was created on the base basis of the school  Kyokushin Kai Karate. This school, which was created by the great Japanese master, Masutatsu Oyama. It was translate with most rigid among all Japanese schools of Karate of the past century. Style Simmey-do absorbed in itself the effective technique of blocking, impacts by hands and by feet rejecting everything what is excess and shown its ineffectiveness in combat. Style absorbed the mass of methods of utilized in the struggles according to different rules of different styles. Throwing technology is one of the components of the bases of style Simmey-do. The source of throwing technology became the rich arsenal of the school of Ju-Jutsu, the ancient style of Samurai. The tactics of conducting battle was developed on basis of Thailand school "Muay Thai". In this school, for the first time practiced the impacts by the feet lower than housing. In the traditional Japanese Karate similar impacts were considered inappropriate, and they were forbidden. Masutatsu Oyama,  was the first Japanese master, who introduced these impacts into the base basis of his school. The difference in the style Simmey-do is in fact that in it you find sufficiently many elements from these schools of the combat skills, which make it universal. Time and practice proved that athletes passing the course of preparation by the style Simmey-do, can successfully participate in the competitions of different level in any rules. 
 

Kumite in Simmey-do karate

Kumite - main component of style Simmey-do. The system of fighters training  in Simmey-do lays special emphasis on this component. Recently the majority of the schools of contemporary combat skills attempt to conduct the instruction of their fighters, using an light contact sparring into the complete contact. Life showed that the contact forms of single combats at present progress more rapidly than those, which use conditional contact. One of the components of style Simmey-do is the school of Kyokushin Kai , which is considered as the most rigid of that existing. However, rules of Simmey-do even more remove conditionality with conducting of sparring, which makes the fighter technique of freer and even more rigid, than into Kyokushin Kai. In the occupations the teacher gives more than 50 percent of the methods and of bonds, which find application in real combat and well recommended himself with the protection or the attack in many struggles, the techniques from the entire arsenal of methods are taken most effective. For the exception of traumatism with the instruction and in the sparring, at the initial stage adapts light contact; with the work of more experienced students - average, and in the sparring of experienced students - complete contact. The study of base methods and bonds independently by students, finalizing impacts on the bags, the spears, Makiwarah without Kumite does not make it possible to develop valuable fighter, who possesses solid spirit, ready to struggle at any time. Therefore the system of trainings  Simmey-do sets as its objective development in the fighters of solid spirit and body. All this occurs in the long period, after the stressed trainings, when the experiences of student and the fear of struggle gradually, with hardening of his spirit and body, pass into a constant readiness for the battle.

The experience of preparation in the school Simmey-do, laying emphasis on Kumite as main component in training of fighter, showed its advantage over other systems of preparation, which are oriented only to the technical perfection or only to the realization of the possibilities of the student through kata (the kata technique in Simmey-do is given sufficiently much attention and time). Kumite enters into the program of the certification of students, beginning with 8 kyu (2 sparrings into the complete contact, with duration on 2 minutes). Certification on the 1st kyu (brown belt) includes 20 sparrings on 2 minutes. Certification to the black belt includes continuous sparring for the hour with those being constantly changed sparring partners. The advantage of the style of any school of Karate determines sparring. It cannot be said that one or other school or another style, weak or poor, indeed the technology and the perfection of each style were added sufficiently long time and proved their vitality. Everything depends on purpose, which places in its activity this school. Purpose of Simmey-do is the preparation of  a strong by spirit and by  body  fighter, who participates in the sparring according to the hard and fast rules into the complete contact, who possesses grow prettier by technology and tactically competent.
